Parkfield Legal Group was founded in Manchester in 2008 by Sir Jonathan Blackwood QC and Geoffrey Hughes, two legal professionals united by a shared vision: to provide exceptional legal services with a personal touch.
What began as a specialist chambers focusing on criminal defence and corporate law has evolved into one of the North West's most respected full-service law firms. Today, we serve individuals, families, and businesses across a comprehensive range of legal matters.

Sir Jonathan Blackwood QC
Founding Partner & Senior Counsel
Sir Jonathan brings over three decades of distinguished legal practice to Parkfield. A former Crown Court Recorder, he has represented clients in numerous high-profile criminal and regulatory matters. His expertise in appellate advocacy has led to several landmark judgments in the Court of Appeal.

Geoffrey Hughes
Founding Partner & Head of Corporate

Her pragmatic approach and commercial acumen make her a trusted advisor to businesses across the North West.
